We told our families on Saturday and friends Sunday and today. Everyone was happy for us, almost. This one woman I work with said "oh, you haven't been to the doctor yet, you just did one of those home things, well..." She's just jealous because she's miserable in life and I'm not. Oh well.
I'm going to the OB to take a blood test tomorrow and then to my GP on Wed. I'm still on anti-depressants and I need to know whether it's better for the baby to stay on them since i'm already pregnant or ween (sp?) myself from them. Either way, i'll be okay.
Wow!! I'm going to be a mom. I'll probably have to take the entire second semester off next year.
Mike's taking to future fatherhood very well. Today, he fixed the garage door and saved us about $500!! A week ago, he was saying we'd have to call someone and have it replaced. Today he said "If we're going to have a baby, we're going to have to be a little more self-reliant" I was impressed to the say the least (the very, very least).
I discovered what will probably by my pregnancy vice - YooHoo! Chocolate drink with little caffeine and fat. YOOO HOOO!!
Anyway, gotta run.
BTW, today was the last day of classes! No more sixth and seventh periods!!! Ironically, they were the students who said "Goodbye, Mrs. We'll miss you!!" My morning classes walked out as if it were any other day. Go figure! Exams tomorrow.
