I love Sunday Mornings

Hubby is still asleep, dogs are dozing in the other room, and I'm sitting here with a cup of coffee and a few moments of quiet. I can't wait until I'm able to drink fuly caffienated coffee again, but I also know that when that time comes I won't be able to sit here quietly. I'm sure I'll look forward to getting up and playing with my daughter/son just as much as I look forward to sitting at my computer now (or probably a lot more).

We did the coolest thing yesterday. We got to fly in an old B-17 bomber. WWII era. It's been restored to "as close to off-the-line as possible". During the flight we were able to move around to all the different gun positions including the bombing position in the very front. Only the tail gun was off limits for safety concerns. We were up for about a half-hour. It gave me a whole new respect for what our soldiers went through.

We are going on a cruise. 4 nights aboard the Empress of the Seas (Royal Carribean). It's really all the time we can spare right now. Mike is trying to save up work time so that he can take a few days off when we have the baby. We leave in less than three weeks. I'm so excited. I have to buy some maternity clothes so that I have something to wear. I'm hitting the Old Navy Maternity site when I finish here.

Other than that, things have been pretty calm around here. My student who couldn't remember a pencil finally remembered on on Friday. On one hand, I'm happy that he did remember and therefore put some effort towards his work, but on the other hand, I keep thinking: "One day out of five he brings a pencil to school???!!!" I'll just keep reminding myself to focus on the positive LOL.
