We were on the go too much today. I feel like I didn't get to play with Spencer at all. At 730 when I picked him up to give him his bottle I realized how much I missed him. It's strange b/c we were together all day, but a lot of time spent in the car where we can't have any interaction. We went to the car tinting place to settle up, then to school to get letters of rec. and visit, then to the Y (but the ChildWatch was closed :( ), then later back to the car tinting place to pick up the Element in rush hour traffic. It was a pain getting home and I don't blame Spence one bit for getting a little fussy in the car. I wouldn't have blamed him if he'd gotten a lot fussy to be honest. He's a good boy!
I think I'm going to teach Summer School. Maribeth mentioned that she needs someone else and I think it would be a good way to build up to going back full time. I have to go check out day care centers tomorrow. I really don't want to, but it's a necessary evil. Lucy said she'd be available, but when I said that she couldn't be expected to do it everyday, she said of course not. She was just agreeing with everything I said even when it made her contradict herself. I think she was just waiting for me to ask her to come up today and wasn't really listening. I don't know. She also mentioned that my mom could come up, too. I don't have a problem with that, but poor Spencer would be so confused. Lucy would let him cry if he was hungry but it was a half hour early and Mom would feed him two hours early if he so much as whimpered. I couldn't do that to him. I think daycare is going to be the way to go. I think I'd rather have him be there than be terrified everyday that Lucy passed out or the dogs jumped on her or she couldn't get Spencer's buttons snapped LOL, etc. AND, I think Mike would agree. The financial aspect is a bit complex though. The lowest price I got was 199 per week, which is actually less than I thought it would be. 110 for three days if Lucy or Dianne want to pick up the other two. We'll see... We've got lots of time and right now we are just talking about summer school.
That's it for now, more later...
