Okay, I read (not seeking it out, came across it) again what the diagnosis criteria are for being on the austism spectrum. Spencer is not! The ONLY thing that fits him is the lack of pointing. And I think that's just him being stubborn. He does everything else just like a normal kid. Follows directions, shares, no routines, imitates, etc. That's a bullet dodged. Here's a question though. If we hadn't snapped out of it and changed our ways, would he have "developed" autism? Doesn't matter. My little man is fine. My little girl is fine. I'm happier than I've ever been knowing those two things. Having kids changes everything.
Mike asked me today about putting his xbox downstairs now that I've cleaned out the room. Go figure :oP .
