Okay, strange thought for the day... Does Captain Feathersword from the Wiggle say "Wooo-hoo" in bed? If he's single do the girls request it? I don't know which or more disturbing, the question, or the fact that I thought it up...
Went to the Y. Spencer had a blast. As soon as they opened the door, he was inside looking for toys. Not so much as a wave good-bye. Butthead! Ironically, they had to come get me for Rachel. She would start crying everytime any other kid started crying and she wasn't falling asleep. When I got to her, her little face was all blotchy like she had hives and she just seemed so scared. She's not used to that level of noise either. Oh well, I got most of my workout in. The first thing Spencer did (after he responded to his name - I had to say it thrice, though) was give me the sign for thirsty lol.
Poor Mike admitted to looking forward to going back to work. Then this morning he seemed miserable at work. I wish I knew how to make this time easier for him. He seems to look forward to coming home when he's at work, and almost immediately look forward to going back to work when he gets home :o(. And the tantrums from Spencer have really barely started. Maybe he'll skip that phase, or more likely he'll hit it late, like everything else, and he and Rachel can have a nice overlap. Anyway, poor Mike, I know he looks forward to 630/7pm most of all. I really think Spencer would do better with a 730/8pm bedtime, but I don't have the heart to do it to Mike. And it won't hurt him to have some down time in his crib in the evening. Last night he went right to bed.
Rachel was up at 440am. BBBBOOOO!!!! I let her CIO because I don't want her up until 630 or so, which was when she did finallly get up. I, of course, was up at 440 for good. She was wet (leaked) when I got her up at 630, so maybe she needed a diaper change. Poor thing! Bad mommy! I'll have to start checking and changing whenever she wakes up from now on.
