Relief at last. I read the autism diagnosis checklist again. The only thing he doesn't do is point to share interests. BUT, he shares interests in so many other ways. He gets that stupid Little People Airplane and plays the song so that we sing and now he's doing to hand movements too. If we don't sing or encourage him, he gets bored with it and moves on. He comes up to me and pushes me to tell me it's time to play chase, which I've now started to transform into hide and seek, much to his pleasure. He climbs on me and kisses me and laughs. So no, he doesn't point to something and show it to me. But, that doesn't imply that he's not sharing interests. Other than that we are good. So he's FINE!!!
