We didn't go to the family thing in Columbus because the weather was not good. I was so scared that we'd have to go and a 2 hour drive would become a 3-4 hour drive and be miserable for everyone. So we stayed home and played all day. Staying in the house all day makes for some slow going days, but that's okay. It's about the journey, and what am I trying to get through the day to get to anyway? Tomorrow? It's gonna be the same so that doesn't make any sense. Gotta remember to enjoy the moments.
The kids were great. Spencer was whiny in the morning and wouldn't take a nap until 3pm. Ugghh!! I guess tomorrow I'll just not even try until 2. That's easier said than done because I'm used to having a break around 11 ;o). Rachel slept A LOT today. I mean A LOT. She was up for about an hour, then back down again. She did alternate with the times we tried to put Spencer down so that there was very little time when their napping (or Spencer's playing in his crib) overlapped. And it changed from snow to icy rain so we couldn't even go outside and enjoy it. More snow, actual snow, is predicted tomorrow, so maybe we can have some fun then.
Mike and I were good today. Lots of bantering and laughing. We played WoW for awhile tonight and for a few minutes during the day. I had to remind him yet again of the 'no games while the kids are awake' agreement. He said he forgot. Again. He's gone to sleep. I should too. I'm very tired. I'm going to spend just a couple more minutes on my latest layout though hehehe.
