Not much to report lately.  The kids are doing great.  Rachel was exceptionally whiney today, but that just makes me realize that she's not been that way as much lately.  So good stuff really.  Spencer gave her a kiss through the fabric of the gate between the foyer and playroom, then jumped up ran out and around to her and gave her a big hug.  So cute.  He's trying to talk more and more.  My little mimic, both in voice and expression.  We made muffins today.  Rachel started clapping yesterday.  She can also do 'so big', but it still takes her a minute to figure out how to get her arms up.  When I asked Spencer, he said 'so big', then "how big is Spencer? so big".  Man they are cute.  He said "I want up." and several other things like that.  Twice today I had to put him in time out for swatting at things when he was frustrated.  Both times he sat quietly, then when he was allowed up he pushed the stool back up against the wall as if to say, I'm better now.  The third time that a similar situation arose, he did not swat at/throw anything, he just picked it up and sat it down again.  Man he's amazing.  Rachel is amazingly cute, her eyes are just bewitching.  I think she had gas much of the day and that was the problem.  She was really bad until she made her poo this morning and then moderate after that.  And after a few good farts she was happy for awhile.  So I'm thinking gas.

Mike and I went to Red Onion for dinner.  It was great as always.  Company was good.  I'm trying really hard not to monitor the inflection of tone when I speak.  We both come into a conversation with an agenda and we both hear what is said through certain filters.  I could say something in the nicest tone in the world and if he thinks I'm upset, he's going to hear it come out as bitchy.  Same for me.  So I'm just going to speak and we will deal with it.  So far it's okay.

Oh well, it's almost 10, so I should be getting to bed.  I'm tired.  We've got a busy week planned!
