What a great day. Spencer was on his game all day long. He said banana, red, blue, and yellow without me prompting him. I asked him about the banana but I didn't give him the word. And I wasn't even asking about the colors, he just named the paint colors as I opened them up for him. And he decided to turn painting into finger painting. I have to teach him to wash his hands afterwards though, he went into the playroom to keep on playing and I then had toys to wash lol. Tomorrow I'm getting out the finger paints. I think he'll love that! Lots of pretend play. Yippee!!
We went to HHS to say hello to my old co-workers and show off my amazing kiddos. I'm so not going back. Not there anyway. But the kids were on their best behavior.
Then we went out to dinner with Allison. Spencer sat in the booster seat for an hour! I was so impressed. He wanted up a couple of times and he tried to push his chair back. It didn't scoot like it does at home, it tipped. I caught him, but he got enough of a scare to not want to do it again.
Rachel was fantastic as well. She had pancakes at Perkins. Yum! She was amazingly well behaved, too.
Mike went out in the evening to get a little social time. He enjoyed it.
Just an overall great day!
