Had a pretty good weekend. Got two full layouts done, which is more than I've done in a long time. I've been focusing so much on getting free scrapping stuff that I didn't actually get to the scrapping itself. And when I did, I was just annoyed at the crappy quality of the free stuff. Seriously people, owning a copy of photoshop and having a blog does not make you a digi-scraping designer. Maybe I'm just picky, but if I wanted a picture of a crocheted flower, I'd take a picture myself (actually, I'd bet money that I don't have a crocheted flower anywhere in the house, but that's not the point). Anyway, the crappy quality is forcing me to learn more and more about ps, so it's all good. I've learned how to modify color without losing quality, so as long as I like the design and texture of a kit, I can make it any color scheme I want. Go me!
Anyway, the kids are good. Mike is good. We've both been sick (he's worse of course ;o), but the kid's seem to have avoided it. Actually Rachel has a rash on her face. I think it's fifth's, but it seemed to start when I started giving her ibuprofen, which I remembered belatedly happened the last time I gave her ibuprofen too. But now she has the typically 'slapped cheek' look and the rash seems kinda crusty. It's also on her diaper area, but not crusty and its been there longer. It doesn't seem to bother her though, so I'm just watching it for now. We have no insurance this month, so if I can avoid the doctor, that would be good.
Spencer asked to go the park today. And at dinner when I asked him what we did at the park, he said 'swing'. That's new. And nice.
I guess that's all for now...
