It's probably the coolest baby swing I've ever seen though. It's more like a papasan than a seat (see photo). It makes nature sounds and has a mirror. It swings both front/back and side to side.
I invited my mom to go to Babies R Us yesterday. I wanted to look around (though I really didn't plan on getting anything). I saw the swing and fell in love and she just picked it up and put it in her cart. I argued for a moment, but I lost - if you can call getting a cool present losing LOL. We had a nice dinner and got to talk. We haven't done it in a long time. I wish we did it more often, but enough on that...
I'm flying to Memphis to see my dad and his new house this weekend. He recently moved from Dallas when his partner's job got transferred again. Found a last minute direct flight and rental car cheap! That should be fun, but I'll be back here in time for fireworks on Monday night!!
I think that all-day morning sickness was just a bug because I haven't really had any since. I've put down the pretzels and crackers and still feel fine.
Summer school is going okay. It's really boring, but I try to make it exciting and at least break up the monotony a little. I'm teaching 9- graders through super seniors (should have graduated already, but trying to get that last half credit). I'm supposed to use their pre-test results to guide the instruction, but I'm just covering the basics instead. The test results were all over the place, which makes sense because my students are all over the place. I have two students from a neighboring state who won't even take the hgih stakes test I'm gearing them up for LOL. It'll all work out in the end.
