We have colored walls!! Smokey Blue, Gobi Desert, Brown Teepee, Belgian Sweet, and Oyster to be exact. The colors turned out beautifully. We decided to leave the trim white because the constrast looks nice. I thougth that Mike was just suggesting it to be lazy, but when I saw the colore we'd planned to paint them, I had to agree that the white would look better. We still have to touch up the walls and trim, but the bulk of the work is done. Then vacuum and shampoo while everything is away from the walls and eventually get the house back to normal. We bought really good paint that covers easily and is not so heavy on the fumes and left the windows open, so no worries about the baby.
School's out and I'm going to spend my first official day of vacation cleaning, but we all saw that coming a mile away. I told Mike I'd clean the baseboards if he'd paint them. There's no reason to further subject myself to paint fumes. Maybe I'll go shopping while he's working. HeHeHe!!
That's about it for now. I'm going to have to change my title for summer time. Summer school starts on Thursday, so I'll have a whole new group of students to complain about. LOL Anyone care to take a guess of how many (out of about 27 total) students showed up to take their exam without a writing utensil???
