Good day! I went to the eye doctor (don't forget to order contacts) and Spence was good the whole time. He did start to get fussy just as I was paying, but he'd been good for so long, who could blame him. The people at the desk were taking their usual slow time to get a yes/no answer from the doc. I finally said forget it and just left. Later the doc called and said she'd mail the script for contacts. Then we went to Target and Spencer enjoyed just looking around. He was practically catatonic by the time we left though. I had forgotten a blanket so I had to buy one to put over the carseat (it was raining). As soon as I draped that thing over and blocked out all the things to look at he was a goner. Literally within a few seconds. Poor little guy didn't even have the energy to turn his head as we were checking out. He just stared until I put that blanket over him LOL. He is so wonderful!!! He got a little fussy in the evening, but he was tired and hungry. Mike wanted to give him Tylenol right away - whether it was to give Mike peace or Spencer relief is something I'll never know. I just walked him around and then gave him his bottle early. His whole bottle, usually it's split up. We are going to have to start cereal soon. Hopefully, it can wait until after we get back from Memphis. I'd like for Mike to be a part of it, though he probably won't see it as being as important as I do. I'm sure my dad will pressure me to give Spencer cereal when we are in Memphis - mostly so he can feel like he has some part in Spencer's life and very little for Spencer himself. Anyway, I don't want to go down that road or I'll be traveling forever LOL. Going to the park tomorrow with cincy moms. Hopefully, it will be fun.
