I think Spencer tried to say "I love you" today, because he said something like that and gave me a kiss (just like I always do to him) and I said, "I love you too Spencer". He turned his head quickly and looked at me like, "you understood that? because that IS what I was saying".

Earlier in the day, I saw him pointing to things in a book he was "reading". Then awhile later when I was pointing out pictures in a book, he actually showed me where the picture of the door was (he seemed a little annoyed because he was busy feeling the fur on another pic :oP ). Then on the next page I asked him to point out the shoes, he looked at me and said, clear as day, "what?" and I said shoe again. He didn't point them out, but I'll take what I can get for one day ;O).

I've stopped prompting him for any of his needs. I've stopped saying, "Are you hungry/thirsty?", or even "do you need anything?" He's had to come to me with all of his needs and he's doing well with that. He's following basic commands, most of the time (he is still a toddler). I've really been working on giving him time to respond before I say it again and that has helped tremendously. He'll do what I ask, he's just going to take a couple extra seconds - he is a toddler. He's also been responding to his name more. AND he had his first real case of separation anxiety today at the Y. It was so cute.

Tomorrow is the big day. Hope RaRa let's me get sleep tonight!!! My mom should be here at 930 and I have to leave by 945 at the latest. I'd better call her and remind her just in case. Dialing... lol.

I guess that's it for today.
