Rachel was up again last night. Ugghh! Gas again. I ended up making a bottle for her, but didn't give it to her and then forgot to put it in the fridge, nice waste of formula.
Spencer is awesome. Handed my Lightening again this morning. Responding to his name it most commands and statements, if not always when I just say his name. That's a hell of a lot better than before, though. Now it really is what I would consider normal for a toddler. Filling out the mchat there's a question about whether he mimics facial expressions, etc. Well I wasn't sure, so I tried blowing rasberry's and sure enough he blew right back. He also stuck out his tongue and said 'mmmmmm' like I did. Good news all around. I'm really not worried when I'm looking at him, just when he's not with me or asleep, is when I get nervous. That is also generally the time I'm writing in here, so keep that in mind when you hear the negative tone.
Mike reminded me of something Jennifer said yesterday. She said that yes, pointing is specifically mentioned as a red flag, but the concepts that pointing represents, like making a choice and such, he is doing well even if he's not extending that finger. She said it seems like it's coming, just give him time. What else can I do lol. The pics on the cabinets don't seem to be having any affect. He just runs away giggling. Damn!
