Great day! Ignoring the one tiny blip from this morning, I'd say it was a pretty damn good day. Mike's job interview went well, they want him to move onto the second round. Spencer was great kid personified. We played outside and had fun. He really liked the sprinkler. I taught him how to give Monkey and Danger treats, which they appreciated. He gave me some of his milk when I asked for some. He used signs for hungry and then when I didn't take immediate action he started doing the sign for more. I actually think that he thinks more is cracker, because typically the only time we use it is when he's snacking on crackers. I told him it was time to stop playing with the stroller in the garage adn go inside, and then I said, "let's go inside and we'll have some cookies and milk." He went in with no trouble at all. He was rolling Hot Wheels back and forth with me. Uhhhh, what else? I told him to pick up Sally (blue porsche from Cars) and he didn't but I pushed the issue and he did. There seemed to be a click. Maybe I'm using too many words. I give names to different cars (i.e. Racecar, Lightening, Sally, Asten, etc.) and I do the same with bears and stuff. Maybe I should just call them all cars for now. I'll work on that. Rachel was very cooperative and was cool outside with us for like a half hour. Spencer wasn't objective to coming back inside when she got fussy either. Like I said, damn good day.

Oh, while Spencer was watching Cars before bed I was sitting next to him. I asked him for a drink and pursed my lips, inadvertently making a smooch sound. He leaned over and gave me a kiss, all the while still watching the TV. Crazy child!! His father used to do the same thing to me, and it made me so mad. Boys!! He did give me a drink though when I asked more specifically for a drink of milk :o).

That's it for today. I'm going to read for awhile, and then watch Grey's from last night. And I think I have a How I Met Your Mother, too. And Reese Cup Klondikes too.
