Had date night again. It's been a long while. Since before Rachel was born. The kids were fine. I had separation anxiety. When Mike arrived home, Spencer didn't really take notice until he realized that Daddy had a present for him. Then similar when Tom and Lucy arrived. He waved but didn't say hi when I told him to. Then he was happy to see them and played and had fun with them. This bothered me and I started having the usual panic attack that something is wrong with him during dinner. Mike was very understanding, and just repeated that he's fine and started stating reason why we know he is. Mike was really great. When we got home, he noticed me, but didn't show any real excitement or anything. When I got down and opened my arms, though, he came running to me and wrapped his arms around me for a big hug. That felt good. He then told me he was hungry. Apparently he was having so much fun with grandma and grandpa that he forgot to eat his dinner.

Rachel ate a ton today! She had bottles at 130, 315, 530 and 630! And the 130 bottle was her third bottle of the day already! Goodness. T/L said she was crying for about 10 minutes and then they gave her the bottle and she sucked it down. I had told them if she started crying to try a bottle and she would refuse it if she wasn't hungry. Guess that was good advice :oP. Sometimes I do know what I'm talking about. Occasionally. She finally found her right foot. She's been grabbing the left one for a few days, but today she got both of them. I got a picture. I think that pic is the epitome of babyhood. Smiling grabbing the feet. She's so cute and amazing. How did I get so lucky to have two such amazing kids?!

Mike was in good spirits. Said he was blowing things off a little bit at work. His asshole "boss" told him that he needed to relax. He said he wasn't sure how to take it and I said, "take it literally". So hopefully 4 people in as many days, 3 who care and 1 who doesn't even like him, saying essentially the same thing will sink in a bit.
