Well that playdate went even better than I could have expected. Spencer was great. He even gave Keira her cup several times when he found it or she was looking for it. He tried to give Rachel a drink from his cup when she was fussing. It was really cute. I told him to give Keira a hug and he pushed he away instead :oP. They played next to each other, each doing their own thing, but acutely aware of what the other was doing. When Keira was playing with his magnets, he went to go check out what she was doing.

HE SAID MAMA!!!!!!!!! We were sitting and we could see ourselves in the mirror. I said something like 'who is that in the mirror?'. He got up and walked toward the mirror and said mama, clear as day. I was shocked. Hallie agreed that it was definitely mama. I hope he says it again soon and a lot!!!!!! Maybe he's been wanting to say it but having trouble with the m sound. When he gets that sound out, he practices it a lot. So maybe he's just perfecting it before he says it. Same with dada. It took a lot of practice before he said bye-bye correctly and now he says it in context perfectly.

Rachel took a short nap at 9, then was back to bed around 1115. Now they are both asleep and I'm relaxing a bit. I have to go make meatloaf soon. I'm going to make it today for tomorrow and we'll have meatloaf sandwiches. Yum!!
