Okay, they are gone. For good??? Possibly. I questioned the need for the occupational therapist coming out next week, and she said that yes it is to see his fine motor skills (which are fine), but also to look for sensory issues, of which he has none. And, OMG, do I not need someone to come out here and look for sensory issues. I'm 99% sure there are none, and I DO NOT need anything else to be watching for floating around in my brain. I weight of it may very well collapse me. So, they said if I really think he's fine, I don't have to take their services. I can just cancel. I'm seriously considering it. If he continues to improve over the next 3 months they way he has over the last three months, he'll be totally caught up by the time we go to our follow up in March. And if he doesn't, well we'll find out then. Until then, we'll continue to go to speech therapy, and I'll keep trying to teach him everything I can at home.

I just cancelled the OT person next week. I'll probably cancel the whole shebang, but not yet.
