Well it's day four of the New Me campaign. I exercised after I gave Rachel her morning bottle. I ate better yesterday and the two days prior. I'm down a couple of pounds. Wow, at this rate I'll have it all gone by summer ;o). Seriously though, my goals are as such:
1. Twenty pounds (215) so that I can fit into the basket of clothes in the closet that 'almost' fit.
2. I have an XL top and size 18 bottoms hanging in the closet that I'd like to wear sometime this summer (preferably May, but I'll accept August, too).
3. I bought a simple pair of L bikinis and matching cami that I'd like to get into eventually. This time next year would be nice.
All three of these things are up front and visible in my closet for motivation. I've also come up with my 4 best reasons to lose the weight:
1. For Spencer... because he needs me to keep up with him.
2. For Rachel... because she needs a healthy role model.
3. For Mike... because we lean on each other.
4. For Me... because I know I can do it.
I'm adopting the mantra of another January mommy also:
Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels.
That's so true. Taste last for a minute, feeling good about your body can last forever.
