It didn't go too badly.  Basically the same things that everyone else has said.  She said there are three parts they look for when evaluating autism.  Communication issues - which he clearly has;  Social issues - which he might have in a very, very minute sense;  and repetitive behaviors which he shows no signs of at all.  So he's not autistic, but he may still be on the spectrum at the very mild side.  She commented that he didn't attempt to show us any of the interesting toys in her office, though he did play with everything appropriately.  So we go back in couple of weeks for another assessment.  This one with the same woman, but more Spencer focused rather than today's parent focused one.
