It's 5:42 am and I'm sitting on the couch, sandwiched by two adorable children.  I hate daylight savings time. ;0)

The pictures went really well yesterday.  Which was surprising because as we were walking out the door Mike and I were contemplating rescheduling for a couple weeks later to do a re-shoot.  But we got in right away, no waiting at all, and the photogs were on their game getting smiles and laughs.  The ILs were late.  MIL actually called to tell us it was because she was on the toilet and walked in carrying a (still folded up) trash bag and a changing pad protector that we had left at her house for diaper changes.  And she told everyone why she had them, even telling the photog that she had extra 'things' if she had an accident.  I tried several times to put the trash bag and protector with the kids stuff on the chair but she kept snatching it back and telling everyone within earshot why she had it.  No one wanted to know and I was very embarrassed for her.  We should just not go in public with them anymore, it just seems like every time we do it is weirder and weirder.  I swear the 6 or 7 years of prescription pain meds have really rotted her brain and altered her view of reality.  As far as the actual pics went, their late arrival worked out perfectly because we were ready for them pretty much the moment they walked in.  Spencer didn't/doesn't like being 'placed' for a pic, so that was a little problematic, but it all worked out well in the end.

Lucy is supposed to be going to the doctor today.  I hope everything goes well.  In the meantime, Mike isn't feeling well and my stomach is flip flopping right now.  Uh-oh...

Spencer has been in a mood to end all moods lately.  Constant tantrums over anything and everything.  Refusing to nap, and really, really needing one.  Pushing Rachel and hitting me all the time.  Last night he actually pushed Rachel down on her face, it was really mean and a little disturbing to me as a parent.  So when we were relaxing on the couch I noticed that he was rubbing his cheek and I gave him some tylenol.  Viola!  Back to his old self about 15 minutes later.  I hate molars lol.

Rachel is doing well.  She's been ready to nap within a couple hours of waking lately, but I'm worried she won't nap later in the day, so I keep her up.  I think wiht the time change though, I will let her nap early this morning and see what happens.  We have story time adn I really want to get to the gym, but I think we'll put her naps first today and see what happens.  We can go to the gym tonight and storytime is not that important.

I think Mike is calling in sick today.  It's 6:10 and he's not up yet.  I guess he still has time, but he said he was debating and usually that means he's already decided lol.

Gotta run, Rachel's bringing me books.
