As I sit here reading the various letters from hospitals and collections offices, I am forced to admit defeat.  We are going to have to pay $1600 on top of the $1400 we paid for cobra last year.  The insurance company is just not going to pay and I have zero recourse other than having my credit ruined.  Apparently they can just not pay and get away with it.  I am so angry.
