Finally feeling back to normal. I started taking a birth control pill a couple weeks back and it screwed with my system really badly. I felt like I was pregnant in my first trimester, which I guess is kinda the point. Ugghh!!! It even got to the point that I called and asked the nurse how long it typically lasted and could I switch pills. At the two week mark, I seemed to feel much better and I’m back to normal now.

Rachel is finally potty trained. It kinda happened by accident. Her diaper rash was flaring again so I told her to spend a couple hours naked, which she threw a fit over. But she ended up using the potty and I guess realized it wasn’t that big of a deal. So the next morning I asked her to stay naked again and she was willing. One thing led to another and by Friday night, we were out buying her twin bed as a reward for no more diapers. She is still wearing (and using) one at night, but she’s still peeing in her sleep so that’s just a necessary evil for now. She takes it off immediately in the morning. She’s not had any real accidents since she’s learned to feel the urge. She seems to have the same ability as Spencer to hold it for quite awhile if she wants too.

The weather is finally nice enough that we can be outside a lot. That’s nice. The kids will be getting bikes soon. In theory anyway, if he keeps up at the current rate, it may be September before Spencer earns enough stickers to get his lol. I want them to have them and be comfortable riding them before we go on vacation at the end of May, so we can take them along with us.

Spencer’s on spring break, Mike is getting help for his stress and anxiety, I’m feeling better and Rachel is using the potty. Life is good!
