Some good stuff:
Scale not going down, working hard, feeling discouraged. Gave myself a pep talk on the way to Zumba. Went something like this:
"Remember how I ate all the fundraiser cookie dough in October and didn't gain anything? And then in November I put on 10 pounds for no obvious reason? Getting older, delayed reaction, keep working hard and it will come off, blah, blah, blah..."
First song goes by in Zumba and my pants are droopy. I realize that I need to tie the drawstring or they are going to hang down all night. I also realize that I didn't have to do that for the same pants 2 weeks ago. That moment of clarity was better than ten pep talks. :o)
