Rest day

That makes it really easy to do my exercise resolution! Haha!

Actually did get in quite a bit of activity, my fitbit buzzed by 1pm saying that I'd hit my 10k.  I think it overestimates quite a bit, but as long as it's consistent I guess it doesn't matter.  Whether I'm taking 10k or 50k steps a day, the point is to get more activity and for that it's damn useful.  And I plan to do some Pilates tonight.  I made a concerted effort today to sit straight up against a wall and it was very difficult.  But I was able hunch over quite comfortably.  I believe that Pilates (with some yoga mixed in when I get bored) will help me combat this problem.

I find myself wanting to eat or snack all day.  I've been resisting and logging calories though.  Just have to get used to the new paradigm of not snacking every time I walk thru the kitchen.  I need to remember what it feels like to actually get hungry, for a change.  Instead of eating for the hundreds of other reasons that I typically do.

I can't wait to make dinner.  I've had the Knorr Parma Rosa packet mix a few times and I love the flavor, but I hate the ingredient list and I swear it just tastes processed and chemically.  Just occurred to me that with a little modification to a favorite recipe I already make often, it would pretty much be the same.  Yummy!

I've had both my fruits today and will have a salad with dinner.

I have modified this post several times for grammar.  It's amazing how lazy I've become with complete sentences.  I'm not sure I even recognize them anymore.  My desk is clean and so is my closet.  The dishwasher is running now.  I'll unload it and reload it after dinner.  So I'm staying on track!
